Over the past few years, I have marketed thousands of items on ebay for myself, relatives, friends and friends of friends. I charge a percentage of the final auction price plus expenses. The expenses consist of the ebay listing fee, the ebay final value fee and a Paypal payment fee. The shipping & handling charges are paid by the winning bidder. See the table below for a break down of all these charges.
Once the item (to be sold) is delivered to me, I will research what similar items have historically sold for and determine if we should list it. If we decide to continue, I will photograph the item, prepare an appetizing description, and list the item for 7 days. At the end of the auction, I will collect the money, either through Paypal (electronic bank account), check or money order. I will then package and ship the item to the winning bidder. I will provide you with a spreadsheet that will contain all pertinent information regarding each item and issue my personal check for your share of the profits.
It would be helpful if you would provide as much information (manufacturers name, model numbers etc.) as well as an estimated $ amount you feel you need to get for each of the items you wish to sell. If there is a definite minimum $ amount you have to get, please let me know and I will place a “reserve” price on the item. If the “reserve” price is not met during the auction, the item will not be sold.
Reserve Price fees: Up to $199.99 = $2.00, $200.00 and up = 1% of reserve price (max. $50.00).
